Ahead of the Argentina Open in Buenos Aires, where he is the defending champion, the 20-year-old, who won the US Open in 2022 and Wimbledon in 2023, was questioned about his season objectives. “If I had to choose one target this year I’d choose the Olympic gold over Roland-Garros,” the Spaniard stated.
The Olympic tennis matches will take place at Roland Garros from July 27 to August 4 concurrently with the French Open, which runs from May 20 to June 9.
