Gautam Gambhir, the former Indian cricket team opener, is no stranger to controversy. Gambhir is well-known for his heated comments and direct analysis, which occasionally sparks social media debate. During a recent X (previously Twitter) Q&A session, a fan asked Gambhir why he makes such “controversial statements.”

“How come you always make such controversial statements?” “#AskGG,” he wrote on Twitter. Gambhir responded in his characteristically blunt manner.

“I say what I think.” “You should consider who benefits from the controversies!” he said.

Earlier, Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir had interesting responses to the topic, “Biggest threat to India in T20 World Cup?”

“Afghanistan can be extremely dangerous in those conditions.” “Australia has impact players, and England plays T20 cricket the way it should be played,” Gambhir explained.

“I have a different perspective. South Africa should win, in my opinion. They have yet to triumph in a white-ball competition. “From what I saw in the 50-over World Cup, and obviously Pakistan, who are very dangerous,” Yuvraj Singh remarked.

“See, Pakistan’s fielding is probably the worst in international cricket, as I saw in the 50-over World Cup.” They would really have to pull their socks up if they want to compete in the T20 format,” Gambhir observed.

“The number of finals India has reached…I don’t believe Pakistan has reached anywhere like the number of finals that India has in the last five or six years. And you’re only one step away from winning the prize. “Hopefully, there will be one in the T20 World Cup.”
