Daniel Jarvis, often known as “Jarvo,” an English pitch invader, made his first appearance in India after a photo of him lying on the ground during the World Cup match between India and Australia went viral. Jarvo was notorious for snooping around fields and made three appearances in the Test series between England and India in 2021.
Look who’s returned! Jarvo, aka Daniel Jarvis, the notorious English YouTuber and occasional pitch invader, made his debut in a match played outside of the UK. On Sunday, October 8, during the India-Australia World Cup game in Chennai, Jarvo, who repeatedly entered the field during the England-India Test Series in 2021, fell to the ground. It was unexpected to find pictures of him on the ground despite strict security measures and panels of iron that resembled cages around all Indian sites.
Virat Kohli, the best batsman in the world, is escorted out of the stadium in the viral photo by a member of India’s support crew. Surprisingly, there hasn’t been any video of him so yet. Jarvo wore the Indian jersey with the number 69 inscribed on the back.
In the Lord’s Test between England and India, Jarvo made his debut while pretending to be an Indian player in front of the officials. He replaced Virat Kohli in the Indian lineup for the following Test match in Leeds before the previous captain left after being escorted by security.
Jarvo returned to the fourth Test at the Oval while sporting the India shirt, bowled as a pacer, and ran into Jonny Bairstow before being hauled out once more by officials. Not only that, but he also participated in Real Madrid’s Champions League game the previous season.
