Anushka Sharma offered a special message for Virat Kohli after his century during India’s play against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2023.

Virat Kohli delivered a spectacular effort, slamming his 47th ODI century to lead India to a huge triumph over Pakistan in their Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 encounter on Monday. Kohli, who hit 122 off 94 deliveries, cobbled together a record partnership with KL Rahul to lead his team to a massive total of 356 for the loss of two wickets. Anushka Sharma, a Bollywood actress and producer, praised Kohli in a unique four-word remark on social media.

Anushka posted a photo of Kohli with the caption “Super knock, super guy” on Instagram.

Kohli described his 47th ODI century as a brilliant example of playing second fiddle following India’s record 228-run triumph against Pakistan.

Kohli’s lightning-fast pace between the wickets was mostly due to his exceptional fitness, but he called those singles and doubles “easy runs” after scoring an undefeated 122 off 94 balls.

It was a typical Kohli hundred, with him scoring the runs on the strength of 38 singles and 15 twos before picking up the pace towards the conclusion of the inning.

“I always planned my games so that I could support the team. Today was an excellent example of what happens when you don’t get off to a solid start. When asked about his innings, Kohli stated that KL had a better start and that he was being played second fiddle while I tried to bring him on strike.

And certainly, I took action where I could after that. In terms of fitness, I’m really proud. In comparison to a big shot, pushing for doubles is an easy run. I hope to keep doing it the same manner since it has worked before,” he continued.

When discussing their collaboration with Rahul, Kohli said: “KL and I are both traditional players. And since I don’t play fancy shots, it’s difficult to break these partnerships when he bats like he did and I do.The main focus was to “keep batting,” so we didn’t give the partnership much thought. One of the most enduring relationships we’ve ever had, and for Indian cricket as well, is this one. As we prepare for the World Cup, he immediately returned to form for us.
