While the cricketing world focused on Ravichandran Ashwin as he prepared for his 100th Test, the great spinner was enjoying the company of his wife and daughters. Ashwin could not have wished for a better way to get his 100th cap than to be surrounded by his family and colleagues.
Prior to the start of play on Day 1, the BCCI interviewed his family. His wife, Prithi, praised him for his years of hard work, while his daughters simply remarked, “Congratulations, Daddy, do well.”
