The cricket World Cup final between Australia and India began with an air show performed by the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Suryakiran Aerobatic team over the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Suryakiran Aerobatic team members, who had also participated in a practise session on the eve of the championship, performed some exciting formations and flew above the world’s biggest cricket stadium. The Suryakiran Aerobatic Team, which was established in 1996, is made up of IAF pilots with extensive training.

Performers for the final include vocalist Jonita Gandhi, composer Pritam Chakraborty, and musician Akasa Singh, according to the BCCI. The mid-inning show and refreshment breaks will be when these performances happen.
After defeating South Africa and New Zealand in the semifinals, respectively, India and Australia advanced to the championship match.
In Sunday’s World Cup final against India, Australia captain Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bowl.
After winning in the semifinals, neither team changed their starting lineup.
