Before the Asia Cup 2023 began, Virat Kohli earned an incredible 17.2 on his Yo-Yo test.
Virat Kohli aced the Yo-Yo test, preparing for a busy time that will see the Indian team compete in the Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup in 2023. Following the fitness test, the Indian hitter who is considered a lucky charm posted a picture of himself on the ground on Instagram. Along with the photo, Kohli disclosed his Yo-Yo test result, which was 17.2. Players doing Yo-Yo tests are reportedly have to score at least 16.5 in order to pass the BCCI. Happily, Kohli is well ahead of schedule.
It was previously disclosed that the players will attend a training camp in Bengaluru before the Asia Cup begins, hosted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Whilst the majority of the players have already reported to camp, those who were preoccupied with the Twenty20 International series against Ireland are anticipated to arrive on August 25.
Rahul Dravid, the head coach of India, along with a few other members of the coaching staff, are also anticipated to attend the camp at the NCA.
