The entire country is looking forward to the highly anticipated Ram Temple ‘Pran Pratishtha’ celebration in Ayodhya on Monday. Vedic rituals for Ram Lalla’s celebration in Ayodhya began on Tuesday, a week before the main ceremony. Several celebrities, including members of the Indian sports fraternity, have been invited to the historic event. On the eve of the ceremony, South African spinner Keshav Maharaj sent his best wishes to India and prayed for peace and unity.

Maharaj took to Instagram and put a video on his account, saying, “Namaste, I just wanted to wish my Indian community here in South Africa.” Best wishes for tomorrow’s opening of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.May everyone find peace, harmony, and spiritual development. Jai Shree Ram.

Maharaj also gained a lot of attention earlier this month when, during the second Test match against India, he asked the DJ to play the song “Ram Siya Ram Jai Jai Ram” before he came to bat.
“It was obviously something I put forward to the media lady and requested that song to be played,” Maharaj had stated to PTI.
“God has been my greatest blessing, and I feel that if I have the chance, I should take advantage of it because it puts you in the zone and earns the respect of other players.” “While it’s important to respect religion and culture, it’s also nice to hear ‘Ram Siya Ram’ playing in the background,” he continued.Referring to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ritual, renowned Indian bowlers Venkatesh Prasad and Anil Kumble have traveled to Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, in order to take part in the festivities.
Aside from Anil and Venkatesh, a number of prominent cricket players, including MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Ravichandran Ashwin, have been invited to the function.
