The chief of the Pakistan cricket board had to do a lot to convince Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh to side with them in the fight with the BCCI. But the bone of contention is Pakistan’s hosting rights for the BCCI, as the Indian board is determined to move that entire tournament out of Pakistan. Pakistan is also not bowing to the pressure of the BCCI.
Like earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board had threatened to boycott the Asia Cup and World Cup 2023, but now the stand is more clear, as the PCB has sent a clear message saying that if the Asia Cup doesn’t happen in Pakistan, then the Pakistan cricket team will not participate in the tournament.
