Babar Azam and the Pakistan team arrived in Hyderabad to compete in the ODI World Cup.

After a visa issue, the Pakistan cricket squad arrived in Hyderabad for the ODI World Cup. Babar Azam’s team was greeted warmly upon their arrival in Hyderabad ahead of their warm-up game against New Zealand. When Babar and the rest of the Pakistan players arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad on Wednesday, they appeared to be in a good mood. Babar used social media to express his gratitude for the wonderful reception he and his teammates received.

Babar and the team’s top pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi were clearly in a good mood as they posed for the cameras.

Pakistan has finally arrived in India, over a decade after their last visit for a bilateral series in 2012-13.
Since then, the ‘Men in Green’ have experienced significant changes, with the majority of the squad facing the prospect of playing in India for the first time. The team’s lack of knowledge with Indian circumstances could offer a considerable problem.
Babar took to Instagram and wrote, “Overwhelmed with love and support here in Hyderabad.”

Earlier, during a news conference in Pakistan, Babar addressed the worries, saying, “All of us are proud of travelling for the World Cup.” We are not under any strain despite the fact that we have never played in India. We did our study and heard that the situations are similar to those in other Asian countries. It is a privilege for me to travel as captain this time, and I hope we return with a trophy this time.”

Pakistan would miss more than just a lack of expertise on Indian soil. Another conspicuous absence will be the presence of the home audience during their tournament matches.

“Unfortunately, we will not be able to see the supporters. However, as far as I know, all of the games are sold out, so we’ll be playing in crammed stadiums. Although our followers will not be present, I am confident that their support will be heard on social media. “I’ve heard that the fans in India show their love as well, which I haven’t seen yet, but I’m excited to play in India as well,” Babar continued.

Pakistan will play a warm-up match against New Zealand ahead of the World Cup, which is set to take place behind closed doors on September 29 in Hyderabad.

They will begin their World Cup campaign on October 6 against the Netherlands at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
