Both Pakistan’s all-rounder Salman Ali Agha and opener Fakhar Zaman are out injured and will not be available to play against Australia in the World Cup.

Pakistan’s World Cup match against Australia in Bengaluru on Friday will not have injured opener Fakhar Zaman or all-rounder Salman Ali Agha in the lineup. Agha is suffering from a fever, while Zaman is healing from a knee injury. The Pakistan media manager released a statement on Thursday stating, “Fakhar Zaman is being treated for a knee injury, he is expected to be available for selection next week.”Salman Ali Agha is recuperating from a fever that he contracted following his training session on Wednesday. In the 15-man starting lineup, every other player is performing admirably.” Zaman has only participated in one tournament game thus far, which was Pakistan’s opening encounter in Hyderabad against the Netherlands. In the game, he scored twelve runs.After Zaman was removed from the opening role, Abdullah Shafique scored 113 against Sri Lanka and 20 against India.
