The team captained by Babar Azam first eliminated Bangladesh for 204 runs before coming back to surpass the target and achieve 205 for 3 in 32.3 overs to claim their third victory of the match. Mohammad Rizwan (26) and Iftikar Ahmed (17) scored the last few runs after Abdullah Shafique (68) and Fakhar Zaman (81) hit fifty-score innings and were removed from the game. When Bangladesh chose to bat, Mahmudullah scored a century off 70 balls, but they were unable to build any momentum as they kept losing wickets.The other batters to reach double digits were Mahmudullah (56), Mehidy Hasan Miraz (25), Shakib Al Hasan (43), and Litton Das (45).
