The competitors strive to place in the top two. Fakar Zaman scored 115 runs in 57 deliveries to win player of the game. Islamabad United lost the chase for the 227-run goal after being dismissed for 107 runs in 15.1 overs. For the team, Rashid Khan got four wickets.

Mohammad Rizwan is the leading run scorer in the PSL 2023, having made 421 runs in eight matches at an average of 70.16 and a strike rate of 141.27, with three half centuries and one century. Fakhar Zaman of the Lahore Qalandars is No. 2 with 365 runs from nine matches at an average of 4.55 and a strike rate of 173.80 with two half-centuries and one complete century. Imad Wasim and Babar Azam are the other players who have made more than 300 runs in the tournament.

Ihsanullah of the Multan Sultans leads the record of most wicket-takers in the PSL. He has 18 wickets in eight games with an economy rate of 6.28. He was named star of the match after catching a fifer against the Quetta Gladiators. Following him is Rashid Khan, who has taken 15 wickets from seven outings at an economy rate of 6.11. Shaheen Afridi leads the team with three catches.
