When India plays their third and final ODI of the England tour, famed Indian women’s cricket pacer Jhulan Goswami will play her final international cricket match at the storied Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Veteran Indian female cricketer Jhulan Goswami is scheduled to play her final game against England at Lord’s, according to BCCI sources. She might make her final international debut on September 24 in the third and final ODI.

On September 10, 13, and 15, India will play three T20 Internationals in England, followed by three One Day Internationals on September 18, 21 and 24.

According to media sources, the BCCI wanted to give Jhulan Goswami a dignified send-off because she was unable to do so on the field following a side strain she sustained during India’s final group match against South Africa at the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 in New Zealand.

After being absent from the previous series in Sri Lanka in July, the 39-year-old veteran was chosen to India’s women’s squad for the three-match ODI series on Friday.

The illustrious Indian fast bowler has played for his nation in 12 Tests, 68 T20 Internationals, and 201 ODIs. She has taken 44 Test wickets, 252 Women’s ODI wickets, and 56 Women’s T20I wickets.

Goswami picked up her 39th wicket of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022, tying the tournament record for most wickets ever. The seasoned pacer made her debut for India in five World Cups after making her debut on the international stage in 2005. In 2005, 2009, 2013, 2017, and 2022, she participated in the ICC Women’s World Cup on behalf of India.
