After becoming a father, Hardik Pandya talked about how his priorities and outlook on life altered.

Hardik Pandya, the captain of the Mumbai Indians (MI), talked candidly about how he accepted fatherhood, how it impacted him personally, and how it permanently changed his life. Since taking over for Rohit Sharma as MI’s captain for the 2024 Indian Premier League, Hardik has been the subject of criticism. Everywhere he has played, he has been the focus of persistent abuse from the crowd, who both at home and away have jeered him during MI games. His bad performance in the competition has even led to him being targeted by fans on social media. In spite of all the speculation regarding his form and fitness, Hardik was included in the squad that India released a few days ago for the T20 World Cup.

In a recent conversation, Hardik talked about how becoming a father altered his goals and outlook on life.

“(After becoming a father) My perspective on life changed, but my cricket didn’t change much. My priorities and perspective have shifted, which has greatly calmed me down. Ultimately, you are aware that your loved ones will always support you when you return to them. incredibly grateful for this life. “Being a father and getting married has been incredibly special,” Hardik remarked in a Star Sports video.

In 2020, Hardik became a father. He wed the actress Natasa Stankovic in 2023. Agastya, his four-year-old son, is his child.

India captain Rohit and top selector Ajit Agarkar supported Hardik to succeed in the forthcoming T20 World Cup and the IPL 2024, despite his recent setbacks.

Agarkar and Rohit expressed their satisfaction that Hardik has been able to play his part as a bowler and hitter for the Mumbai Indians in the 2024 Indian Premier League without suffering any setbacks due to injury.

“There was no conversation about vice captain. Everyone should be in excellent form, right? The good news is that we have a month and a half, and Hardik has completed all of the MI games.

We hope he continues to improve on that form because we know he is doing it. I do not believe that anything can take the place of what he is capable of. He provides balance to the club and allows Rohit to play with various lineups. Thankfully, he has performed admirably thus far in the IPL “Agarkar stated at a news conference on Thursday.
