Alim Nur missed a few shots, but Sheetal Devi responded with consecutive flawless scores to seal the victory.

The 4th Asian Para Games are currently underway. On Friday, Sheetal Devi made a spectacular start by winning the gold medal in the women’s compound open event. In the women’s compound open event, Singapore’s Alim Nur Syahidah was defeated by Sheetal Devi with a stunning archery exhibition. Alim Nur’s accuracy gave her a point advantage in the first three sets of a closely contested match. With the last two sets to come, she had a three-point advantage when the first three sets ended.

Alim Nur missed a few opportunities, but Sheetal scored two consecutive flawless scores to seal the victory.

Her final score was 144-142, which gave her the victory.

India broke their own record on Thursday, finishing the day with 82 medals overall, surpassing the 72 they had set in Indonesia. With two days remaining, India will be aiming to surpass that number.
India brought home 72 medals at 2018, including 15 gold, 24 silver, and 33 bronze. However, in Hangzhou, India has surpassed themselves once more, winning the most medals at the games ever. Nithya Sre achieved a historic 73rd medal in the women’s solo SH6 event, settling for a bronze medal despite her outstanding performance.
