The fast bowler for New Zealand, Kyle Jamieson, did not participate in the second test because he was experiencing back pain following his team’s triumph against South Africa in the first test earlier this month.

Fast bowler Kyle Jamieson will not be able to play for the remainder of the season, according to New Zealand cricket, as scans have found a stress fracture in his back.
The two-test series between Australia and New Zealand that begins later this month will not feature the 29-year-old since he is not scheduled to play again until the summer.
“These past few days have been some of the most difficult for me, but I am incredibly appreciative of the help I’ve gotten from my partner, family, teammates, support staff, and medical professionals,” Jamieson stated.
“I know injuries are part of life as a cricketer, and at my age, I am hopeful I still have many more playing days ahead of me.”
Kyle Jamieson, who is the fast bowler for New Zealand, complained of back pain after the victory of his team over South Africa in their first test earlier this month and did not play in the second test.
On Friday, the Black Caps won in Hamiltoin by seven wickets to complete a series victory.
