Cristiano Ronaldo, who is currently without a club, was given a luxurious Rolls-Royce by partner Georgina Rodriguez for Christmas. The car is estimated to cost INR 2.50 crore.
Cristiano Ronaldo may be without a club after Manchester United terminated his contract about a month ago, but that hasn’t dampened the Christmas spirit at his house. Georgina Rodriguez, Ronaldo’s partner, shared a video on Instagram of a brand new Rolls-Royce wrapped in a huge ribbon. Ronaldo was taken aback when he saw what his partner had prepared for him. The Portuguese footballer even took to Instagram, where he shared a story with a photo of the luxury vehicle and a message for his lady love.
Rodriguez showed fans a video of her home and the holiday festivities in a video posted to Instagram. The video showed some extravagant gifts, such as a Rolls-Royce car, a few Louis Vitton bags, and bicycles for the kids.
“Thank you, my love,” Ronaldo replied, expressing gratitude to his partner for the Rolls Royce. According to Mirror UK, the vehicle is a Rolls Royce Phantom worth around GBP 250,000 (INR 2.50 crore).
The Portuguese star has been looking for a new club since leaving Manchester United on a’mutual agreement’ in November. Some reports claimed that he was on the verge of joining Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, but the 37-year-old publicly denied having reached an agreement with the club.
Ronaldo did not have the best FIFA World Cup 2022 campaign with Portugal. The veteran forward was benched for the Round of 16 and quarter-final matches after starting all of United’s group-stage games.
Portugal were eventually knocked out of the competition in the last 8 stage, suffering a 0-1 defeat at the hands of Morocco.
Ronaldo all but confirmed that he had played his final match for Portugal on the international stage not long after the conclusion of Portugal’s World Cup campaign. Though he has not confirmed whether or not he will be retiring from international service, he has left everything open, waiting for fate to decide what is in store for him.
