Mohammad Nabi claimed two wickets, while Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan each claimed three. Afghanistan had earlier reached 284 thanks to top hits from Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ikram Alikhil. Ikram scored 58 while Gurbaz hammered 80 runs. Additionally, Mujeeb Ur Rehman made a significant hit of 28 from 16 balls. Adil Rashid, who claimed three wickets for England, was the standout bowler.
