The 25-year-old accomplished this accomplishment by smashing a six off Rachin Ravindra. He equals Australia great Don Bradman’s 13-inning record.

Kamindu achieved the milestone in 13 innings, matching Don Bradman’s speed. They are currently tied for third fastest in Test history, with only Herbert Sutcliffe and Everton Weekes having done so in fewer innings (both 12).

Mendis completed his sixth Test century earlier today, becoming the fastest Asian hitter to do so. He is now tied for fourth place in the all-time record of fastest hitters to reach five Test hundreds.
Mendis set a global record on Thursday for the most consecutive fifty-plus scores since his debut, scoring eight half-centuries since his first encounter against Australia two years earlier.
