Raghu is a right-arm leg-break bowler who was born in Jalandhar, Punjab, on March 11, 1993. He has played domestic cricket for Puducherry and Punjab. He has taken 57 wickets at an average of 19.59 in 11 first-class games, with his best bowling statistics being 7/56.His best stats in List A cricket are 4/37, and he has taken 14 wickets in 9 games. In three T20 games, he has also taken three wickets.Vignesh took six wickets in five games for the Mumbai Indians, including a memorable three-wicket debut against CSK. Along with Saurabh Tiwary, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Tilak Varma, MI has discovered a number of youthful talents throughout the years, including a right-handed batter and a left-arm wrist spinner.

Even before he played senior representative cricket for his state, Vignesh made his IPL debut with the Mumbai Indians.He made a smooth transition to the IPL after being plucked from the Kerala T20 league, where he played for Alleppey Ripples.
