KSCA officials step down, accepting moral responsibility for the Bengaluru stampede during RCB’s IPL trophy celebrations

A Shankar and E S Jairam have resigned from their respective positions as Secretary and Treasurer of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), taking moral responsibility for the stampede that occurred during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) IPL trophy celebrations. The tragic incident outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on June 4 resulted in 11 deaths and 75 injuries.
