Cricket South Africa had talked about calling back its players in view of the WTC final. In such a situation, now the board has taken a U-turn and now African players can be seen playing in the IPL playoffs.
Cricket South Africa (CA) had earlier decided to withdraw its players from IPL 2025 by May 26, so that they could start preparing for the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
But now CSA has taken a U-turn and announced that all South African players will be able to play in the IPL till June 3, that is, they will be available till the final of the tournament. This decision has been taken after discussions with BCCI and IPL franchises.
