Despite Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma’s best efforts, RCB defeated MI by 12 runs in a thrilling match.
In an intense final-over match in the 2025 Indian Premier League, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated the Mumbai Indians (MI) by 12 runs. Virat Kohli (67) and captain Rajat Patidar (64) both turned up outstanding batting performances to lead RCB to 221/5 in 20 overs, their third victory in four games. Following a wild run chase, MI came very close thanks to a late flourish from Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya. But Hardik’s brother Krunal Pandya’s three wickets in the last over and their exits turned the tide of the match in the RCB’s favor.
