Change in Venue as Weather Forces BCCI to Move High-Stakes Match Out of Bengaluru
The much-anticipated IPL 2025 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has been relocated to Ekana Stadium, Lucknow, due to persistent rain in Bengaluru. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made the decision to ensure an uninterrupted contest as weather forecasts predict further rainfall in the coming days.
Originally scheduled to be held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, the crucial match will now unfold in Lucknow, where dry conditions are expected. This move is aimed at maintaining the integrity of the competition as the tournament nears its knockout phase.
