Virender Sehwag mocked his former teammate in a live YouTube session, showing no mercy.
Amit Mishra was ridiculed by former India captain Virender Sehwag during a live YouTube session, displaying no mercy. The altercation occurred when the show’s host questioned Mishra about SunRisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) chances of making the playoffs. After their loss to the Mumbai Indians (MI) on Thursday, SRH is currently in second place with just two victories from their first eight games. Speaking on Cricbuzz during a live post-match session, Mishra shifted the subject and talked about the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and their prospects of qualifying for the playoffs.
It’s nearly impossible, in my opinion. It will be difficult to win all six games with the style of cricket they are currently playing. They would need to do well in every department to achieve it. To show respect for their top order, Dhoni must play at least 30 balls if he choose to bat higher in the order, according to the statement.
But Sehwag cut him off, reminding him that the question was about SRH, not Dhoni or CSK.
“It’s all because of Dhoni’s aura,” Sehwag said in response to Mishra’s prompt apologies.
As SRH fell to MI by seven wickets, captain Pat Cummins acknowledged that his team lacked a resolute presence in their innings. After the match, Cummins acknowledged that Heinrich Klaasen and Abhinav Manohar had given SRH something to bowl at, but he acknowledged that it was insufficient.
Cummins remarked, “Abhinav and Klassy got us to a good total, but we couldn’t get through this innings,” in reference to SRH’s early disintegration to 35 for 5. “Needed a guy to really steady the ship.”
On Friday, SRH will return to action when they play CSK in Chennai. Similar to SRH, CSK sits at the bottom of the standings and has only won twice this season.
